The Wilburton Hub Committee have been supported by both Plunkett UK and the Cambridgeshire & Peterborough Combined Authority to put funding in place allowing us to install and run our own Community Shop from the car park at the rear of The Wilburton Flame.

7/4 - UPDATE

Fabulous news! - we have reached our initial £10,000 goal and donations/ shareholder offer money now stands at £10,910.

Thank you everyone for your support and please keep spreading the word - more donations & shareholders will be required. We also have around 20 individuals who have expressed an interest in volunteering, if you think you might be able to help, please get in touch.

4/4 - UPDATE

Now over £7500 nearly £8000 over £8000 nearly £8500 OVER £9000 and donations still coming in.

29/3

A week after our consultation last Saturday, we are now well over the halfway mark and have collected around £7000 with a considerable amount more promised but not yet pledged.

Please give what you can, and as soon as you can. As was once said, “Every Little Helps”!

Before 13th April we need £10,000 from the Community and that sum releases £42,500 from the Combined Authority. With the £42,500 grant, we can open the shop.

22/3 - Thank you everyone for coming to the Consultation Event today. It was a resounding success and so many people expressing their desire to see the shop open.

Please do give what you can. This is really important. If we can’t reach the £10,000 community funding by 13th April then CAPCA will not release the £42,500 grant money that has been allocated to our project.

It is that simple!

Early signs are that after the consultation event today we have already received almost £2500 £3150 £3900 through GoFundMe, cash and by direct bank payments.

KEEP GOING PLEASE AND SPREAD THE WORD!!!
